Visual junkie collections inspire daily blog
There is a buzz word swirling around the media these days that one might be tempted to use to describe the latest project of San Francisco artist Lisa Congdon's: hoarding.
Blame it on his blog, "A collection of one day in 2010 (collectionaday2010.blogspot.com) documents which stock of vintage ephemera, school supplies and enamel cooking, among many other things.A photographed or illustrated assembly will be posted on the site every day for a whole year. It raised more than 365 collections of two decades, countless flea markets and antique shops, and a host of legacy family, friends and strangers.
