Wire Twisting Pliers
What do you call the kind of pliers which twist two wires together like a rope, by one simple pull?
I over they're used in the building trade to hold re-inforcing bars together before clear-cut is poured on them.
When I was in the military and also worked for a superintendence contractor we used to use "safety wire" pliers. They do exactly what you are talking about. We had to run wire though...
Track and Field how do you replace the wire (damaged) for the hammer? have the replacement wire - need help.?
I have already purchased the replacement wire - justified can't see how to attach it without using pliers and damaging the wire. Wire came...
Well, in behest to get the new wire on, you are going to have untwist the new wire. Unforunatly, there isn't a better way of replacing wires.
Jennie Macfie on garden lighting
Allow candles to bring joy to your garden when the sun goes down.
Well, we're here - a month in Saint John and normally I'd be writing about the pleasures of sitting in the garden sipping a cool drink after a hard day's work at the coalface of paid employment. Alas, the end of spring means it was so cold most of the time that many of us have not dared even a cup of coffee outside. So you may not have been affected by the problem of lighting the garden during the warm summer evenings.Yes, a gardener, even the most jaded romantic and can sometimes be tempted by the idea of introducing a bit of fantasy and festooned trees and shrubs for butterflies of gauze, flowers and stars.
Before succumbing to the temptation to buy wired electric lighting for your site, be realistic. What a fine, warm evenings there are likely to be this year? Given the ever present threat of Icelandic volcano simmering in the background, and the north wind is too frequent visitor, I would not bet on what materializes many here in September.
