The Bosch Group has recently launched the KTS 340 diagnostic tool in the aftermarket in North America. It has been designed to diagnose more than 230,000 American, Asian, European and models of vehicles using ESI globally from Bosch (electronic) database of the automobile.
According to Jim Frazer, director of marketing for Bosch Diagnostics business, the tool of large (8.4 inch) interactive touchscreen, 2-channel multimeter graphics and database services for the Automobile "will be streamline services to the automotive and help ensure rapid, accurate diagnosis and timely repair."
On the basis of what Bosch calls the "Usability Concept", the KTS 340 identifies a vehicle in three ways.
1. Automatic Vehicle Identification. With one click, the vehicle is automatically identified when the vehicles are equipped with automatic identification.
