A Hortonville Middle School eighth grader chose the kangaroo dozens of images possible in case of computer program of the machine.

After only a few minutes, the picture was complete and it is the turn of the next student to choose an image and gain experience with the high-tech machine.

The exercise was part of a tour of a mobile Fab Lab, or a manufacturing laboratory, designed by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The semi-trailer 32 feet filled with state of the art equipment including laser cutting, CNC milling machine and the router, which was parked behind Hortonville High School since May 17

"I think it would be fun to spend a day with just the machine alone," said eighth grader Parker Thome, referring to the laser cutting. "It would be cool to make a leather case for my iPod.
