BILLINGS - The current version of the Billings High Cheerleaders Western team will travel the path of wireline.
"We're not really eliminating Cheerleaders," said Dave Cobb principal. "Cheerleaders have a long history here in the West."
But the program will change to remain viable in the school, "he said. West is the only high school in Montana with a flag and drill team baton. If the program will continue to recruit students and to find places to compete, it must become more modern, "said Cobb.
These changes have fueled rumors around town that the school is the removal of his drilling team overall, something Cobb said is not true.
